Proudly serving the borough of White Oak Pennsylvania's 9,300 residents for all BLS/ALS emergencies and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Centers transportation program.

White Oak is located in eastern Allegheny County and we are proud to offer 24/7 Paramedic & Emt Coverage. We also offer a volunteer and junior corp program for high school youths 14-18 years of age.

White Oak EMS is also home to WOSAR, a certified level 1 Wilderness Search & Rescue team recognized by The Pennsylvania Search & Rescue Council.

March 3, 2014: White Oak EMS has received their second 3 year National Ambulance Accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services (CAAS).

On Thursday July 25, 2013, White Oak EMS made an 800 mile round trip medical transport from Valhalla, NY to Pittsburgh to bring a 5 month old baby with life threatening birth deficts to Children's Hospital. Click to read our story at the Tribune Review.

CAAS ACCREDITED - Commission On Accreditation of Ambulance Services

March 28, 2011 - White Oak EMS receives accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services (CAAS) for it's compliance with national standards of excellence. White Oak EMS became the 144th ambulance service in the country to successfully complete the voluntary review process which included completion of a comprehensive application and on-site review by national experts in emergency medical services. With this achievement, White Oak EMS becomes the 7th ambulance service in the state of Pennsylvania, and only the 3rd service in Allegheny County to do so.
